Call for Papers for Journal of Plant Ecology: Global Change and Biological Invasion

  • Journal of Plant Ecology will release a Special Issue inspired by The 4th International Conference on Global Change and Biological Invasion held in Zhenjiang, China.

Global change and biological invasion are the major environmental and economic problems affecting the whole world in the 21st century. They not only seriously threaten the stability and security of the country, but also are important scientific problems, which have been widely concerned by international organizations, governments and the scientific community. Global change and biological invasion are changing the species composition, structure and function of the ecosystem, seriously threatening the safety of global biodiversity and human living environment. There is a complex interaction between global change and biological invasion. Biological invasion is not only an important part of global change, but also an important driving factor of global change. Meanwhile, it is also affected by atmospheric CO2 concentration increase, climate warming, nitrogen deposition and other global change factors. Relevant research has become the focus of ecological research.

Journal of Plant Ecology will release a Special Issue inspired by The 4th International Conference on Global Change and Biological Invasion held in Zhenjiang, China, on November 16-19, 2020 to provide a broad overview of the effects of global change on biological invasion. Many of the papers in this issue will be invited by the guest editors, however, unsolicited papers related to the topic are also welcome. All types of papers (primary research articles, reviews, perspectives, data papers, short communications, commentary) are welcomed following the usual peer-review process.

All articles in this special issue will be available through Free Access, which means that your paper will benefit from the highest possible exposure to the scientific community. Please indicate in your cover letter that you are submitting to the "Special Issue on Global Change and Biological Invasion".
